Providing free dental care for underserved children in the St. Louis Region

For Dental Professionals

This day doesn’t run without caring and giving dental professionals. Your role for the two-day clinic will be determined by your skills and how you would like to spend the day. Volunteer for one day or both!
You are the reason our clinic dental work is successful.
What do you need to know as a Dental Pro volunteer?
Arrival:
7:00 - 7:45 am Check-in and Continental Breakfast
8:00 am Welcome and Introductions
Upon arrival, head to the “volunteer check-in” area upstairs (head through the door at the left of the lobby and you’ll see the stairs) for your name tag and clinic t-shirt. Grab breakfast and further instructions will be given at 8:00 am.
What to wear:
Dental personnel should plan to wear their scrubs. You will be given a GKAS theme long-sleeve shirt to wear.
Are you volunteering both Friday and Saturday? Please take just one t-shirt to wear both days. If  it gets dirty, find Erica for a new one. We don’t order enough for everyone to have two. Thank you for understanding.
Other things to know:
You will receive three hours of Continuing Education credit for each day you work at the clinic.
Pick up your Continuing Education Credit paperwork at the Volunteer Check-out table when you check out.
Sterilization for all instrumentation is provided throughout the day. Check with your floor team leader about those procedures.
Location:
St. Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education
3320 Rutger Street
St. Louis, MO 63104
Parking: Covered parking garage on Rutgers St. If the bar is down when you arrive, take a ticket. You will not need to pay when you leave.
Personal Items: There won’t be storage for personal items such as purses or bags. Please plan to leave them at home or locked in your car.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
